The CPP41419 Certificate IV in Real Estate Practice is the nationally recognised qualification required to work as a real estate agent in Australia. While this qualification is standardised across the country, each state has its own licensing requirements on top of this qualification.

Key points:

  • The CPP41419 replaces the older CPP40307 qualification
  • It consists of 18 units of competency (6 core + 12 elective)
  • Can typically be completed in 3-6 months depending on study mode
  • Must be completed through a Registered Training Organisation (RTO)
  • Some states require specific elective units
